Hi, my name is Stuart; I'm an experienced Character TD with a background in animation and have been working in the video game industry for over 9 years. I currently live and work in the USA but I'm originally from the UK.
I have advanced knowledge in the areas of rigging, pipeline and tools creation and a solid understanding of anatomy, kinematics and vector math. I have experience with creating mixed pipeline solutions (Maya, Max, MotionBuilder), and I'm familiar with adding automated source control (Perforce, Alienbrain) to pipeline tools.
I was previously a senior animator on multiple projects and I feel that this experience helps enormously when creating tools for other animators. I've created rigs and animation for a wide variety of animation styles; from ultra-realistic to cartoony. I like to
keep pushing myself and I'm constantly improving and adapting my character rigging skills whether it's for humans, animals or cartoon characters.
I have a Masters
in computer animation from Bournemouth University (ncca)
